Advice From A Mom: Drive, Don’t Walk!

When we think of going on a beach vacation with our family, we think of happy sand covered kids, building sandcastles and trying to outrun the crashing waves.

Not that this post card vacation can’t happen, but let’s be honest, actually walking to the beach isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Unless you are walking out of your vacation home directly onto Vanderbilt Beach, (which, by the way, comes with hefty, weekly rental prices) a five minute drive to the beach is nothing to complain about.

When you are toting children, beach gear, a cooler and toys, just throw them all in the car and take a quick, air-conditioned drive to the beach. Purchase one of our Naples Beach Parking Passes or utilize meters, parking garages or the Clam’s Pass trolly to the beach. You won’t regret it!

Save your walk for the evening when you go back to the beach for one of our beautiful sunsets… when the only thing in your hands is hopefully a fruity cocktail!
