Weather in Naples All Year Long

Those of you unfamiliar with Naples, Florida are probably wondering, what is the weather like all year long? Is the weather like the rest of Florida or different? You are probably wondering especially, what is Florida like during the winter, in particular Naples? Well, in this post, we are going to give you more detail as to what the weather is like in Naples all year long.

Naples has great weather all year long. It is normally very sunny, very warm, with very little variations. The only variations that you will see in the weather here in Naples are temperature, the presence of wind and the amount of rain fall, but these variations aren’t as severe as you see in other travel destinations around the world.

For example, the temperature typically stays between 70 degrees to 95 degrees Fahrenheit all year long. During the “summer” the temperatures in Naples will often increase above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. In contrast, the temperatures during our “winter” will decrease below 70 degrees Fahrenheit, with temperatures dropping as low as 50 degrees Fahrenheit, occasionally as low as 30 degrees but that is extremely, extremely rare.

The only difference between “winter”, “spring”, “summer” and “fall”, is that the temperature changes slightly, either becoming colder or warmer, the presence of rain, or the presence of wind, and that is really all there is to Naples’ weather.

For example, “winter” tends to be characterized by cooler temperatures, the presence of more wind, and little or no rain. “spring,” and “summer” are characterized by warmer than usual temperatures, lots of rain, and no wind.

“Fall,” features more normal temperatures for Naples, which is between 80 degrees Fahrenheit to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, with moderate chances of rain and a little bit of wind here and there.

No matter what time of year that you choose to visit Naples, you can always count on sunny days, and warm, humid temperatures. Naples has never had snow in its history; occasionally Naples has experienced frost, but that is only during the winter months, and that shouldn’t affect your travels or activities here because it is very rare and only affects the agricultural sector here.

All year long, you can enjoy the beach, go kayaking, go fishing, go boating, go hiking, snorkeling, swimming, golfing, or play tennis without any concerns of the weather getting in your way!
