Barbatella (Third Street South). We’re hearing great things about the calamari starter and the grilled lamb chops at this attractive urban trattoria. And we appreciate the great selection of Italian wines they make available by the glass.
Cafe Alfredo (Vanderbilt Galleria, Vanderbilt Beach Road) is a new Northern Italian restaurant run by the folks who used to have Panevino in Naples. Expect great food (it’s a huge menu) and great service. A local restaurant reviewer reports that the Clams Casino are “out of this galaxy.”
Caffe dell’Amore (Gulf Shore Boulevard) is one of the top-rated retaurants in Naples. This beautifully appointed ristorante boasts a menu of authentic Italian dishes including wild boar.
Campiello (3rd Street South in Old Naples) serves delightful Italian food in the festive upscale atmosphere of the Mercantile Building in Historic Naples. Try their thin-crust pizza and the award-winning martinis.

Cosmos Cafe & Pizzeria (Tamiami Trail in Old Naples). Friendly and festive, the Cosmos is a Naples favorite. This family-run cafe offers all the dining options, from pizza and sandwiches to hearty pastas.
Osteria Tulia (Fifth Avenue South). This family-owned restaurant recreates the authentic dishes of the Sicilian countryside and serves them in an Italian farmhouse setting. The menu ranges from kid-friendly favorites to sophisticated dishes that will delight the adult palate.
Bravo! (Strada Place in the Mercato Mall) is delighting diners of all ages with a wonderful outdoor location. It’s part of the national Bravo! chain.
Brio Italian Grill at the Waterside Shops, Tamiami Trail N. near Pine Ridge Road, is part of another well-respected Italian chain. You can’t go wrong with grilled bistecca and a $5 martini. There’s an excellent children’s menu, too.
Joey D’s Italian Restaurant (Green Tree Center on Immokalee Road) is a favorite of many Naples diners. This family-owned place has a sports-bar atmosphere: casual, comfortable, and known for satisfying food. One TripAdvisor reviewer described it as “Just like home in Jersey.” Mangia!
Pazzo Italian Cafe (853 Fifth Avenue South) is a place to relax and enjoy your favorite Italian dishes. For a casual restaurant, they have an impressive wine list.
