Either way, don’t lose sight of the fact that nature is all around you. With access to so many trails and boardwalks, you can spend hours on end, day after day, exploring nature and everything it has to offer.
If you need a push in the right direction, here are a few places to start your quest:
The Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk
Located at the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve, this 2,000-foot-long boardwalk provides up close and personal access to a freshwater swamp environment that’s perfect for taking in nature. From the cypress trees to the bald eagles and herons, you’re sure to enjoy every minute of your experience.
The Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
