If you have children with you, one stop should be The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples. This is a great place for kids to explore. They’ll be able to create a structure in the exhibit known as Build It. They also can create amazing art in the museum’s Art Studio, an exhibit which gives them learning hands-on through creation. There’s also an exhibit about the farm and about the Everglades and so much more. It doesn’t matter the age of the child – they’ll find something that they like.

2. VISIT NAPLES OLDEST HOUSE

Historic Palm Cottage was built back in 1895 and it’s Naples’ oldest house. It’s made from tabby mortar, which is a blend of water, shells and sand. It stands two stories tall and it’s in 1982’s National Register of Historical Places. It’s also home to the educational headquarters of the Naples Historical Society. This is where locals and visitors alike are able to learn about Naples’ history. There are also Norris Gardens, where Naples’ history is told through the lens of a garden. Tours run Tuesdays – Saturdays 1pm to 4pm.
