The absolute perfect home for our girl’s getaway! Loophole had everything we needed and then some. House was cozy, and the decor was fabulous! Great location with the beach in your backyard. Enjoyed spending time on the deck with ocean views. Definitely plan to return to this home in the future, an absolute gem! Thank you, Roland and Natalie - awesome hosts!

The Loophole has been on my bucket list for many years so I felt so fortunate that we were able to spend our 36th anniversary there. The Cottage was everything I had hoped for and more. From the beautiful ocean view and all the comforts of home made it so special. Not to mention what amazing host Roland and Natalie are.

Positive:
Sauna is a nice touch and good communal area. Would be very tight for 8 though.

Negative:
Tired, outside very unkept and pretty much unusable. Needs a bit of love.

Sehr gute Unterkunft alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Kann den Ort sehr empfehlen schöne Gegend sehr ruhig.

Leuk appartement,rustig gelegen ,alles voor keuken , badkamer en bedlinnen was inorde .

Negative:
Dat de vuilnisbak (leeg) in de berging stond wat wel niet fris rook . Vuile ruiten .en geen nachtkastjes op de slaapkamers .

Positive:
Le confort, les grands espaces, l'aménagement des lieux, la terrasse

Negative:
Tout est très moderne et je n'ai pas réussi à utiliser le micro-ondes car trop compliqué et je n'ai pas trouvé de mode d'emploi. L'appartement est peu équipé par rapport au nombre de personnes (peu de couverts et peu d'ustensiles tels qu'une simple louche). Les vitres étaient très sales, dommage car l'appartement est très lumineux sinon.

Positive:
Bien aménagé. Spacieux. Bien situé. Mignonne petite maison Quartier calme.

Negative:
Rien de particulier

We love visiting this home! This is the second time we have stayed here and can’t wait to stay again. We walk to the coffee shop on the corner every morning for coffee and then walk to the beach for the day. Everything else is so close as well - shopping and restaurants! The house is perfect for my husband, son, and I to stay downstairs and my parents to stay upstairs. The house is spotless and they have thought of everything you might need! Such a wonderful place for a beach getaway.

Beautiful house, perfect location. Natalie is the best. We have been coming to duck since the early 90s and this soundfront location is probably my favorite.

Beautiful house in great location!

Highly recommend staying here! The house was perfect for our party of 5 adults and 1 toddler. Everything was very clean, great water pressure in the showers, all the amenities you need. Walkable location to shops, restaurants and to the beach (or grab one of the many available bikes and ride to the beach). We loved all the extras for the beach that the house provides such as nice beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart to carry all items, toys, etc. We would 100% stay here again and again!

This home is a perfect retreat - we would highly recommend! It is the perfect home base for an OBX vacation - it has easy beach access, a great backyard and pool, was clean, and was equipped with everything we needed. The dual living rooms and multiple bedroom areas allow your group to both come together and relax individually at the end of the day. Excellent all around!

Eine schöne, großzügige Unterkunft. Nur zwei Punkte, die uns gestört haben. Zum einen hat es im Badezimmer auf der 1. Etage sehr nach Abfluss gestunken bei unsere Ankunft. Zum Anderen gibt es keine Möglichkeit an der Unterkunft seinen Müll vor Abreise zu entsorgen. Wir musste den Müllsack (nach Anweisung die in der Unterkunft aushingen) bis in die Stadt im Auto mitnehmen, um es dort zu entsorgen.
