Great place. Accurately described.

We had a wonderful stay at Honu Hut beach house! The home is modern, cozy, and extremely clean. The kitchen was impressively well equipped—perfect for cooking meals during our stay. The family room was very comfortable and great for relaxing after a day at the beach. Our kids enjoyed the open space to play board games and we also really appreciated that the house was dog-friendly with a secure fenced yard, which gave us peace of mind and privacy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

The place was clean. Location was good . A beautiful house. We were not satisfied with check in and check out time. The WC s and shower have no lock. Toilet paper was less than what was necessary for 9 persons for two days

Positive:
Zeer mooi ingericht appartement met alle benodigdheden en een centrale ligging en een ruime parkeerplaats waar ook onze fietsen konden staan.

Negative:
Om aan de sleutels te kunnen moet je op je knieën, wat niet voor iedereen mogelijk is.
Het stapelbed kraakt nogal en is daardoor eerder geschikt voor 2 kinderen of 1 volwassene in het onderste gedeelte.

Alles was top.
Ook bij verlenging voor het verblijf verliep alle communicatie snel en correct.
Wij kijken ernaar uit om terug te gaan.

De zetels en stoelen hebben een opfrisbeurt nodig ruiken muf de rest was alles ok!

Our stay was peaceful and pleasant, just checking at 16:00 is too late, as well check out at 10:00 too early

Positive:
La villa est magnifique, moderne, bien équipée (cuisine, vélos, mobilier de jardin, table de ping pong). Nous avons eu toute la place nécessaire pour une très grande famille. Les chambres sont confortables et faites lorsque nous sommes arrivés (pas besoin d'apporter de linge de lit ni de serviettes) Parking aisé devant la maison.

Negative:
Nous le savions en réservant mais la maison est tout de même à un bon quart d'heure à pieds de la plage. Il n'y a qu'une clé mais il suffit de penser à la remettre dans la boîte à clé devant la maison.

Positive:
C'est une jolie maison, bien située et facile d'accès. On peut se rendre à pied à la plage et il y a de nombreux magasins et restaurants peu loin à pied.

Waren mit der Familie. 4 Personen. Wohnung ist klein, har aber alles was man braucht. zu beachten ist, das es für die Betten je nur eine große Decke gibt. Lage ist ruhig und vieles zu Fuß oder Rad erreichbar. ist zu empfehlen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at JB by the Sea. The house was clean, well-stocked, in a great location, and Natalie was quick to respond to any questions. We were able to easily walk to the beach & several of our favorite places (Tortugas, Lucky 21, Nags Head Pier, Surfin' Spoon, Dowdy Park Farmer's Market, Front Porch Cafe). The house itself was just as shown in the pictures. The A/C worked really well despite temps in the 90s for several days, which we've found is not always the case in the OBX. The black-out curtains in the bedrooms were FANTASTIC. The jellyfish/sea lice were bad several days, so it was nice to come back to the pool/tiki bar and hang out. Overall, we had a great time & would 100% recommend this house to anyone.

Such a refreshing getaway—even though condtions kept us from enjoying the beach. This spot was very special where everything was thoughtfully arranged and easy to navigate. The pool and walking-distance activities kept the vibes high and the days full. Our host was very responsive and accommodating.

What a great house! First, the location is perfect being halfway between the beach and town. Secondly, the house is very nicely decorated and outfitted. The kitchen is very well stocked, the furniture is very comfortable and the front and back decks are great. The pool is wonderful and the addition of for hole is certainly fun. The house also comes with 6 bikes (4 adult and 2 kid bikes), a bike trailer to take beach gear down to the beach, and 8 beach chairs and other sundry items. Overall, this really is a great place for a great beach vacation.

Beautiful stay for our family of six plus pet. The view from the apartment and the proximity to beach was more than ideal. There was even a market the evening we arrived, which was wonderful.
Parking is paid, but not terrible to find. I would recommend bringing bikes to get around to neighboring towns and sights.
The downside of this stay was all the additional costs and fees (pet and deposit). Because this listing is run by a business, it lacks the friendly human interactions. But if you are a person with a credit card and a smartphone and doesn’t care about human interactions, then this one is for you.

Positive:
Sehr ruhig, liebevoll, neu, sehr sauber. Es gab 3 Kaffeemaschinen je nach Vorliebe, die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Achtung- der Wasserkocher verliert Wasser! Bäder sind neu. 2 Toiletten.
Matratzen sind bequem, die Terrasse sehr ruhig.
Der Weg zum Strand ist nicht zu weit. Viele Restaurants fussläufig, aber nicht direkt vor der Haustür- also keine Gerüche, keinen Lärm.
Der Strand ist Mega. Das Wasser sauber, wasserretter vor Ort.
RENTUS reagiert super schnell auf Anfragen.

Negative:
Keine Müllcontainer am Haus. Man bekommt eine Strassenliste und muss Container ausfindig machen sowie seine. Müll dann mitdenken Auto hinfahren oder zu Fuß bringen. Mich persönlich hat es gestresst.
Thermostat hat m. e. Nicht gekühlt. Oder wir haben was falsch gemacht. Hatten wg der Sonne 27 grad im Dachgeschoss, aber durch Lüften gut kühlen können, da es draußen 18-20 grad war. Bei einer Hitzewelle, nicht sicher wie es wäre.

Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns hervorragend:
Strandnah mit seitlichem Meerblick, direkt an der Einkaufsstrasse und trotzdem sehr ruhig.
Wir konnten vor der Türe ungestört ein- und auspacken und haben bei Bedarf immer einen Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe gefunden. 1 Std./1€ von 18h -10h kostenlos. Praktisch ist der kleine Aufzug. Sehr schönes neues Badezimmer mit ebenerdiger, großer Dusche. Wohn-/Esszimmer mit großem Fenster und Küchezeile sind großzügig und mit allem neuwertig ausgestattet was gebraucht wird. Vielen Dank für das kleine Starterset in einer Minikühltasche. Generell ist die Wohnung doch wesentlich kleiner als sie auf den Weitwinkel-Fotos erscheint. Die Lage war für uns sehr passend, die Wohnung gemütlich und sauber. Wir können das Appartement trotz kleiner
Verbesserungsvorschläge weiterempfehlen. Ein schöner Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder.

We hadden een fijne tijd met ons gezinnetje (1 baby) in dit appartement. Het was er heel erg netjes, alle belangrijke zaken zoals kinderbedje en mixer waren aanwezig. Ook het gemeenschappelijke zwembad was een pluspunt. Ruim op voorhand kregen we duidelijke instructies van de host waardoor we vlot onze draai vonden in het appartement.
Voor ons waren de bedden aan de harde kant. Maar dat is persoonlijk. Een nadeel was wel dat Google Maps het adres verkeerd op de kaart aangeeft waardoor we het appartement moeilijk vonden en even moesten zoeken. Het appartement bleek dus verder van de kust te liggen dan hoe Google Maps het aangaf. Dat vonden we een spijtige ontdekking. Maar los van dit hadden we een leuke tijd! We komen graag terug.
