The house was a perfect fit for our first ever family vacation (6 adults, 4 children, 1 infant). The home was large enough that each family had a designated floor. Our oldest grandchildren loved having the bunk bed room. The arcade was a big hit as well. We had the option to go to the beach or use the pool or both. The kids spent an entire afternoon in the pool.

The home is configured well with plenty of space for everyone to be together or to take some time to relax by themselves.

The home amenities are very nice. Plenty of dishware/glasses for a large family. The children dishes are a great touch especially for families with younger children. Additionally there is booster chair and pack/play crib available for families with wee ones. The bikes are great. Our son/daughter-in-law biked to the pier and my husband biked home from the beach.

Our host, Natalie, went out of her way to help us and we are grateful.

All in all a perfect family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is literally perfect. The beach is SO close. If you have middle schoolers, they can easily walk back and forth. Can’t emphasize enough the perfect location. We walked to the coffee shop on the corner twice and enjoyed it. The muffins and coffees were incredible. 10/10. The only “issue” we had was the downstairs staying quite cold while the upstairs was warmer so we couldn’t figure out how to regulate that. Owners offered to help but we were close to checkout time so it was ok. My only suggestion would be one more chair in the living space or possibly a loveseat in place of the single chair. Otherwise, everyone was comfortable. The fenced in yard is small but efficient for a dog to do its business. It a nice benefit!

Positive:
Vlot contact, alle basis benodigdheden aanwezig, fijn welkoms-pakket, dicht bij supermarkt-slager-bakker en als kers op de taart de zee!

Negative:
Geen zaken te benoemen.

Notre séjour a été parfait. Tout s’est très bien déroulée. L’appartement est nickel, exactement comme les photos et la description

Super tijd gehad, mooi appartement met fijne faciliteiten zoals het zwembad, parkeergarage met gereserveerde parkeerplek, fietslift en afgesloten fietsenbergingen.

In het appartement ook alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Ruime, goed uitgeruste keuken met o.a. combi-oven, vaatwasser en kookplaat.

Fijne bedden en heerlijke douche.

Ook fijn dat het terras helemaal omheind is incl. poort zodat de kinderen niet zomaar zonder toezicht naar het zwembad konden.

Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!

Fehlende Waschbecken in separaten Toiletten, in einem Schlafzimmer fehlt eine Tür.

Natalie’s place was perfect for our family vacation. Location was perfect. A short drive or walk to beach accesses, shops, and restaurants. We highly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back!

Although the cleaning was delayed at check-in, the house was clean and well-organized. It was convenient as the beach and places to visit were nearby. However, there were quite a few flies and mosquitoes, possibly due to standing water. Other than that, it was convenient to use.

This was our second time at Duckin’ Out and we just love it. The location is perfect- close to the beach and downtown. They have everything- fully stocked kitchen, bikes and a trailer to haul beach gear, beach items, etc. They have thought of everything in the details to make you feel at home! The pool is so nice after a long day at the beach too! Communication is great and Brittany reached out to let us know the house was ready a bit early- so nice after a long drive with kids. Also, they left the sweetest welcome bag with items for our kiddos that they loved. We are always sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!

An absolutely wonderful place - very comfortable & fun beach decor ! Very well stocked & appliances are all new . Great screened in porch , decks & loved the pool . The location is perfect between the beach & shops . My grandchildren had a ball as did the grownups - everything was perfect and we hope to come back ! Thank you !

We had such an amazing time! We felt right at home and you can’t beat the proximity to the beach with a pretty view from the front porch. The house was clean, super cute and had everything we needed. The hot tub was spotless and worked perfectly and theres plenty of outdoor seating. The wine donation/charity system is so sweet and thoughtful. Would definitely return! I’d recommend leaving your pups at home or bring a pair of thick booties because you can’t escape the spurs but that’s pretty much anywhere in Kitty Hawk. Overall great place and great hosts.

Lovely location for a young family - great views of the sea. Very secure with underground parking and easy access. Walking distance from local restaurants and high street amenities. Would recommend for anyone looking at a peaceful stay by the sea!

Leuke woning met een heerlijk verwarmd zwembad! De ligging is op een aantal meters lopen van een klein winkelstraat met een supermarkt,bakker, slager, gezondheidswinkel etc.
De strand is op 2 km lopen. Tijdens de looproute kom je verschillende restaurantjes en ander horecagelegenheden tegen.
Helaas was de woning niet helemaal schoon. Er lag stof, hondenharen en veel spinnenwebben met insecten erin. Dit werd gecommuniceerd en ook opgepikt door de verhuurder.
Het was alleen wel fijner geweest als de huis schoon was vóór de 2 nachten dat wij verbleven. En al zeker met zo’n hoge schoonmaakkosten!

Het ,as een zeer mooi goed gelegen appartement, zeer goede organisatie door Rentus.

Negative:
Niets

Zeer tevreden! Leuke ontvangstkit. Proper en net en mooi ingericht. Alles lijkt vrij nieuw behalve de douche is minder (te klein en douchegordijn) alsook een geurtje in de badkamer, niet allesoverheersend, maar toch aanwezig (enkel in de badkamer zelf).

Très belle maison, très bien entretenue, Propre et fonctionnelle!

La maison est rés bien équipée, à tous niveaux (ustensiles cuisines, jeux, extérieur…).

La literie et qualité du matelas au top!

Pas de parking prévu mais emplacements garanti et gratuit dans la rue !

Nous avons passé un très agréable week end en famille, on reviendra !

Maison très agréable, le seul petit bémol est le manque l’équipement dans la cuisine (pas de toaster, peu de vaisselle, manque d’ustensiles de cuisine)

Séjour très agréable dans un quartier calme très bien situé. Le rez de chaussée est spacieux. La maison est bien équipée (il manque un presse orange😉).
La literie est de qualité. Les escaliers sont étroits et raides. Les chambres du 2ème étage sont petites. Au total le séjour fut excellent
