Went for a short weekend break with family and kids really enjoyed our stay the pool was the highlight of the stay.

Schönes Haus für einen Familienurlaub. Der Stand, einige Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen ganz in der Nähe. Die Beleuchtung im Haus könnte ein wenig besser sein :)

Séjour paisible. Maison bien équipée.
L'espace jeux enfants de l'extérieur est appréciable en cas de beau temps.
Il est juste dommage que les chambres n'aient pas de volets afin d'optimiser les nuits des jeunes enfants 😉!

We really loved the place. The beach was right there and was almost like a private beach. Was close to very good restaurants. Katie was a very good host was always reachable whenever we needed her. Will definitely plan another visit soon...

My partner, my dog, and I had a lovely time here! The house is clean and the hot tub is amazing. Natalie is very responsive and answered our questions in a timely manner. Thanks so much again!

The house is exactly as pictured and is very clean. Beds are comfortable and linens are soft, kitchen is stocked with new utensils and appliances and the home is a brief walk to the public access. Beaches in the area are clean and beautiful; we had a great stay.

The home is large, on the beach, & has everything you need. Overall, a great older beach house.
Cleaning was okay-floor under dining table was pretty gross & had to be swept upon use; A few stained bath towels. A “clean”bed with sand in it- (bedding not changed?)
Some safety hazards: closet door in bunk room was off track & when I tried to open fell onto my head. Tried to use the hammock but hooks were rusty; as soon as it was sat on, one hook broke & my son fell.
Biggest issue was when I sent message of damaged door hitting me in the head & dirty floor, the only response was “the home is meticulously cared for & cleaned…I hope you have a nice time”. No, “are you okay?” Or “I’m so sorry the door is broken, we will get that fixed”. Just a defensive reply concerning the dirty floor. As if I made it all up (I have photos). Katie is NOT concerned with your safety and will ignore safety concerns brought to her attention, while being immediately defensive if you mention cleanliness.

This is our second time at Born to Sun and it met our previously high expectations. The location is perfect, mere steps from the beach. Our 13 year old chiweenie, Ted, had such a great time last year we had to come back for a Tedcation! He remembered the house immediately when we walked in and was right at home. The place is very clean and the kitchen comes well stocked. We cooked many meals at home. The hosts have plenty of beach amenities to use - chairs, umbrellas, wagon etc. We come during off season and basically have a private beach! Close driving distance to many activities and sights OBX has to offer. Neighborhood is quiet and we really feel at home in this rental. Looking forward to coming back again for year 3!

Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Alles was man braucht in der Nähe (ein leckerer Bäcker und Konditor...). Brügge nicht weit weg was braucht man mehr?

Positive:
Nice village, not far from La Panne. The villa was very nice as well

Negative:
The way the town is handling the household waste is not adapted to renting... It was a problem for us

Das Haus liegt in einer tollen Lage und hat eine gute Raumaufteilung. Der Pool hat uns alle überzeugt!!! Das Objekt ist definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

Wir waren 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder .Es war wunderschön :)
Wir werden wieder kommen.

Lage, Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Küche

Negative:
verwahrloste Außenanlagen, Viele Mängel im Aktivitätenraum wie fehlende und lose Fliesen, sichtbare abgeflexte Rohre,
Das Haus machte den Eindruck als wäre es noch nicht fertig renoviert.

Schöne Wohnung in direkter Nähe zum Strand. Gute Ausstattung und mit zwei Terrassen genug Platz um die Sonne zu genießen

The place is expensive for its quality. kitchen and living room are smaller than on photos and would need to be repainted.

Our small family of three felt very comfortable in this house. We used the deck daily both for early morning coffee and at night to watch the sunsets. The beach access was so close we were able to walk to and from the beach easily. We grilled two nights and hung out on the Adirondack chairs, which were very comfortable. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking breakfast everyday. The location was perfect for all our favorite spots they we frequent while visiting OBX.
