Liked the condo. Hot water not hot enough for me.

Very NIce

Second bathroom water issue that caused us to have no shower for half out stay and a worker there all day who had to turn off all water. Grill broken and no gas. We bought food that ruined our plans. Garage door was broken. Beach chairs tattered and shabby. Umbrella broken. Basically nothing as advertised other than it had a roof. Very disappointed and ruined our trip. Call to the management company and emails went in answered. They kept having the maintenance people call when I asked for a higher level person. No on ever called or emailed.

Do NOT rent this place or any other property owned by this landlord. Zero satisfaction and I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the over priced stay with a leas that desirable property.

Amazing location! So nice to not have to deal with stairs when traveling with a toddler. They had everything we needed :)

Honu Hut was the perfect place to stay for our extended weekend in obx. We had so much fun riding the beach cruisers around and the location was awesome, just a few minutes from the beach and the sound (on a bike or on foot). The hosts were very friendly and attentive. Overall a very pleasant experience :)

It was a perfect place for a short gate away from Miami busy live. Our teen wanted to have a sleepover with friends, the pool and the beach was a great option.

Expect a clean, well decorated, and private space!

This space was great for our trip. We loved the Honu Hut and The outer Banks! We will be back for sure!

We had a great stay! There were lots of good places to go and we were able to use so many of their beach amenities. More importantly Chelsea and Darren are very hospitable and awesome! Highly recommend this place.

The house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Loved the location right across the street from the beach with easy access. Perfect layout with two living areas, we used one for adults and one for the kids, and that worked out great for our down time spent at the house. Outdoor shower and foot wash helped keep the house from getting too sandy. Enjoyed sitting on the front patio, which was in the shade in the evenings, perfect spot for a few cocktails. Would highly recommend this property!

This was a perfect Airbnb for our 5 day stay in the Outer Banks. The location is right between the beach and the sound so we were able to spend all day at the beach and walk to the sound at night for beautiful sunsets. Chelsey and Darren's place had everything we needed and was super cute. We were most appreciative of the bikes and loved having an outdoor shower for after the beach. Chelsey and Darren also had great recommendations for places to eat, beach parking (not that you have to drive-definitely close enough to walk), etc. We would highly recommend this Airbnb!

The property was nice, but there were some disappointments. The pool wasn't very clean and we had to have a hose pouring water at all times bc the pool would have enough water. The TV's
had no cable to watch cartoons, see sports. We ended buying a cable to connect to the tv and our phone. Other this is was nice.

Cozy, comfortable, accommodating, helpful, relaxing are the perfect descriptive words for the Honu Hut. Chelsea and Darren were the kindest spirits and know how to do hospitality so well. The location, the bikes, the binder filled with tips, and the beach equipment were some of the best parts. Highly recommend spending your time in Outer Banks here.

The hut is truly a must visit place when in NC. I was skeptical about staying in a private room/area that the hosts were also living at but i’m glad i gave it a try. The room is sparkling clean and the bathroom is amazing. They have a binder full of recommendations and also leave a bunch of stuff for their guests to use at the beach out. The location is perfect, not too slow and not too busy. You are minutes away from the beach for a to die for sunrise and minutes away from the sound for the sunset. I was so sad to leave, but will be returning to the hut when I can.
